Richlite is made in Tacoma, USA, with paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council whose stringent standards assure responsible harvesting. In addition Richlite has two recycled products: r50 made with 50% recycled old corrugated cardboard; and r100 made with 100% recycled paper. To ensure it minimizes its impact on the environment, Richlite manufactures the materials through a process called Waste-to-Energy Technology (WE) where all waste resin is run through a catalytic converter and consumed during the drying process. As a result, no toxins are released into the air and Richlite's natural gas usage is minimal. |
